Our restaurant in the country inn Marc Aurel is located directly on the main road and thus right in the heart of Petronell-Carnuntum. It is less than a two-minute walk from the newly opened main portal of the Archeology Park. The nostalgic charm of its interior forms a delightful contrast to the tastefully modern yet down-to-earth cuisine.

Here are dishes for every taste: vegetarian, if hearty, everything is there. The wine list offers the best wines of the local winemakers.

Highly recommended are the several times a year specialty weeks and dinner days. Legendary is also the annual herring feast, which repeatedly brings together many Petronellerinnen and Petroneller, but also guests from abroad, to a sumptuous get-together in the restaurant Marc Aurel.
