The nearby Donau-Auen National Park offers various opportunities for an attractive leisure time. In addition to inflatable rafting, hiking and guided walks with trained Au Rangers, the Danube Cycle Path leads past Petronell-Carnuntum.
This international cycle route starts in Passau and leads via Linz and Vienna to Bratislava.
